Bethany’s Summer Day Camp Registration Begins Bethany will once again host a Camp Lutherwood Day Camp July 30–August 3, 2007 This camping experience, for children ages five through twelve, is an excellent way for children to experience a little taste of camp right in their own neighborhood community. Staff from Camp Lutherwood along with dedicated adult volunteers from Bethany Church guide the week as the children sing, play, discover, touch creation, do crafts, act, participate in Bible Adventure Time, worship…Did we mention HAVE FUN! This day camp allows children to experience, in an outdoor setting, what a Christian summer camping program is like without leaving home. Cost for the week is $40 and scholarships are available to make it affordable for those in need. For registration information download the registration form, print and fill out.
ZAP team visits Beaumont Wilshire — video
On Sunday, July 10th from noon to 2pm a van full of animals from the Oregon Zoo will come to our neighborhood! Parents and children of all ages are invited to pet and see ducks, rabbits, snakes, walking sticks, and This is a free special education program of the Oregon Zoo called ZAP (Zoo Animal Presenters). The ZAP team is a group of teens that present, educate, and reach out to the community by delivering a message of respect for nature and wildlife.

The African Gospel a cappella performed at the recent Oregon Synod Assembly, and now you may experience the joy of their music and faith at an evening of music and inspiration at Bethany Lutheran Church. A free will offering will be received, and CD’s of African Gospel A cappella will be available for purchase. Please join us for this very special evening at Bethany Lutheran Church
Please drop in any Wednesday evening between 7:00 and 8:30 pm for snacks and games and to visit and have fun with friends and neighbors of all ages. We also feature a great movie once a month!
